Experience
I have been a TA at the University of California, Irvine for two years and was the instructor for an intermediate economics course at UCI, summer 2013. In economics, my areas of expertise are microeconomic theory, macroeconomics, industrial organization, econometrics, and game theory. I also am available for tutoring in linear algebra, calculus, and ordinary differential equations. My tutoring philosophy utilizes a twofold approach to teaching and learning. I begin by first providing the intuition. That is, I describe the concept, without the use of any technical language (math, etc.). Only after mastering the intuition do I introduce the technical aspects of the concept. This allows students to learn without memorizing tedious definitions.
