I have 4 children (ages 8, 10, 12 and 15). I taught them all how to read and write and continue to tutor them as necessary in English (grammar, writing, proof reading, editing, literature) and in their Spanish assignments. I adopted my 10 year old daughter (born with a cleft lip and palate) at age 2 from China. After her surgeries, I did many years of speech therapy with her to help her learn and speak English correctly. I lived in Italy for a year and speak conversational Italian and have a love and passion for the language and the country of Italy. I also have studied French and Spanish and would feel comfortable teaching the basics of those languages.

I am a competitive masters swimmer and am competing at the Nationals championship meet in May. I also have a love of open water ocean swimming and do competitions of this nature as well. I love the ocean, diving, swimming, and also hiking, cycling and enjoying nature. I enjoy spending time with my children who are also competitive swimmers.
