Education
Current undergraduate at the University of California, Irvine. I am a fourth year Global Cultures Major. The way I explain my major is that it is very similar to international relations but with a focus on history rather than politics. I chose this major because it feeds my curiosity for learning about how other people live but most importantly how interconnected we really are. Secondly, it gives me an excuse to continue traveling and learning new languages.
Experience
-In high school I took AP an IB exams and scored high in both. -My native language is Spanish which I consistently am able to practice and improve on thanks to my current internship at Laguna Hills high school where I teach two classes in Spanish. -I have a French language certificate awarded by Sorbonne University in Paris, France. -I also have previous experience working for a private tutoring company. -I am a humanities major which encompasses many history and writing courses. -I also have a basic grasp of Mandarin Chinese for those of you looking for an introduction to basic conversation and reading skills. I scored a 5 on the IB Mandarin SL exam.
