Experience
Previous tutoring experience: -Statistics TA at UCI --- 10 quarters -Grade school math tutor at MeriEducation, Newport Beach -English tutor at Realschule, Herne in Germany Relevant courses taken: -Calculus I, II, III -Linear Algebra -Discrete Mathematics -Proof Writing -Real Analysis -Abstract Algebra -Combinatorics Being a teaching assistant has been the most rewarding experience of graduate school for me. I got good marks in undergrad, but school did not come easy. Many times I felt noxious going to lecture because the subject matter was intimidating. Fear of a subject can lead to procrastination of schoolwork, which leads to more struggling. My goal in tutoring is to end this cycle by making difficult subjects approachable for students who feel out of their depth.

Hobbies
I'm a huge nerd who loves board games, frisbee, croquet, and anything Pokemon related. On my off days I can usually be found bodyboarding, catching Pokemon with my girlfriend, and eating my weight in shaved ice. I also love podcasts like The Adventure Zone and The Truth. Sleeping and playing 20 questions with Amazon's Alexa are my favorite low-energy activities.
