Experience
I love working with people to explain concepts and bridge the learning gap in many ways- visually, algebraically, intuitively, whatever it might be. I also believe in teaching a strong foundation, so that my students perform well in and out of class- i.e. teaching the material and not the homework, although I can certainly help on difficult homework problems. I have taught many undergraduate and graduate math courses at UCI (3A, 112, 118, 140ABC, 141, 175, 205ABC, 210ABC) and tutored several math, physics, and economics courses at UNC.

Hobbies
I've lived in many places around the world (Washington DC, New York, France, Spain, and some places in the middle east) but have spent the most of my life studying in the US. Somehow I managed to pick up a few languages along the way too :) My hobbies include traveling, playing soccer and music (I'm a huge jazz fan). I play the saxophone and at one point was doing so professionally! I am primarily interested in mathematics research, but also have experimented with some applications to economics, physics, and computer science.
