I'm a retired grandma in my early 60's. I came from Shanghai, China. I have expensive experience teaching my grand child and other kids of Mandarine from very beginning with fundamental and solid teaching method. As my grand child is raised up in the U.S. I always try to let her not to forget our Chinese culture and heritage. The first step is to teach her speak and then recognize and write Chinese character. For recent years, I did some search of useful, practical, and age-matching teaching books and audios for my grand child's learning purpose. Because of my age advantage, I'm always full of patience on children's learning habits. I know at the young age, a large number of children lack of interests on learning the second language, which may making them feel boring, tedious, inpatient, and forced. However, I will always try the way that I taught my grand child and other kids to teach them in a more efficient and funny way!
