I have been tutoring since my junior year of college ('06). I have a wide range of tutoring experiences - I have tutored students in private schools, inner-city public schools, and correctional institutions. My greatest skill is my ability to develop positive working relationships with students from all backgrounds. I am currently tutoring to support my work for a local startup company. My hours are very flexible, and my schedule allows me to spend ample time both preparing for and working with my students. I mainly tutor the SAT/ACT and AP English/Essay writing. When I took the SAT, I scored 800 math/710 verbal (no writing section at the time). I am extremely comfortable with the writing section as I've tutored it routinely. I have tutored several students in AP English, and have a solid grasp on how to teach students to think critically about what they read. I have edited application essays at all levels and, as an attorney, I have composed and/or edited legal documents, press releases, and editorials.
