Faculty position at Dept of Statistics, University of California, Riverside (UCR), 1970-2000. Retired as Professor Emeritus, Statistics and relocated in Irvine, CA in 2001. Taught Intro Stat and Multivariable Calculus at Irvine Valley College. Continued teaching at UCR whenever offered a temporary position for mutually agreed time period. Involved in High School AP Statistics Program for the last 12 years in a row. Research experience and consulting in many applied fields. Came to US in 1963 as a Fulbright Scholar. Past Fellow of the American Statistical Association. Why I want to be a tutor? Because I love teaching Statistics (1st pref) and Mathematics (2nd pref) I would love to teach Bridge (card game) but that is not a subject in which UniversityTutor would be interested, I am sure! Excellent attitude towards students. Knack of knowing exactly where the student needs help and offering it in a clear understandable manner.
