Experience
I've been helping students struggling with the burden of coursework for over three years. I graduated from JiShou University, and I've traveled the world as a tour guide and au pair experiencing foreign culture. Studying a new language in the classroom doesn't always translate to being able to speak it in real world situations. My classes go above and beyond in giving you not only the language, but the tools to use it in practice. I teach students the subtle cultural context and charm of the language they're learning. I understand that not everyone learns best from the same methods. I'm able to cater to a wide variety of learning styles to ensure everyone, regardless of age, can study in a way that best suits them. I teach Mandarin to both children and adults.I believe learning Mandarin should be an engaging experience for students rather than something to stress and worry over. Having a subject that piques your interest is the best way to ensure you absorb the material when taught and retain it longer than it's needed for exams. I do my best to instill a passion for learning in my students, and to keep the learning process fun and exciting. Let's practice, learn, and enjoy together!
