Experience
I attended the University of the Pacific, where I received bachelor's degrees in Spanish language and literature and international relations and global studies. I also received an anthropology minor. I'm now attending the University of California - Irvine in their School of Law. As a tutor, I've had the opportunity to work with many different students on various topics, but my specialties are Spanish, grammar, reading, and writing. I can sympathize with the obstacles students face learning languages, writing skills, and reading skills, and my goal is to help them work through those obstacles, experience success, and build confidence. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in essay writing and editing, English grammar and syntax, phonics and literacy, reading, writing, literature, and Spanish. In my spare time, I like to get outdoors in nice weather, attend country music concerts, and train for and compete in triathlons. I also enjoy spending time with my dog. Other interests include photography, reading, and travel.
