Experience
I earned two bachelor's degrees from California State University Fullerton (CSUF). One degree was in the field of psychology and the other degree was in the area of gender studies. I graduated summa cum laude and moved on to CSUF where I am presently enrolled in graduate level courses in psychology. My educational background includes numerous tutoring and teaching assistant positions and a math and science teaching position at a private school. At CSUF, I lecture, teach at workshops, and create assignments. I also tutor students in the sociology department. My tutoring subject areas include Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Statistics, Arithmetic, Linear Algebra, Sociology, and more. My areas of specialty are statistics and psychology. I can also assist with AP Statistics and AP Psychology, as well as SAT and PSAT test prep. When I teach, I maintain a positive attitude and like to encourage my students. I adapt to individual needs and like to use real world examples so that students can relate their studies to the world outside. When I am not studying or tutoring, I like to cook, spend time in the fresh air outdoors, and read. I also love sports. Go, San Diego Chargers!
