I have a true passion for teaching others and have shown that by tutoring a number of people in a variety of disciplines. I have tutored everything from physiology to essay writing and volleyball. I have taught and coached for more than 8 years. My favorite topics are the sciences and humanities, as I personally enjoy those subjects the most. I have tutored students who were in middle school, high school, college, and graduate school.My goal whenever I tutor my students is to tailor my own methods to their individual learning style. That way, they have a clear understanding of what they are learning instead of simply memorizing what they need to know to pass a test or a class. I love to watch students reaching their milestones and goals.I had two majors as an undergraduate, graduating with a bachelor's degree in both art history and biological sciences from the University of California at Irvine. I have a master's degree from the University of Arizona in the field of public health with a concentration in family and child health and a subspecialty in global health.When I have free time, I like to cook, play beach volleyball, travel, and do scuba diving.
