Experience
As a graduate student I have served as a teaching assistant for both biology and neurobiology undergraduate courses at UCI. My role included preparing student-centered lesson plans, giving lectures, and constructing assignments and quizzes. I would like to be a tutor because I enjoy teaching and helping students learn. My style of teaching encourages students to be actively engaged in their learning.
