Experience
Edward Park is a classically trained Clarinetist and Composer whose musical experience includes producing, directing/conducting, working with music technology, and being an active performer. Aside from his personal musical endeavors, Edward has over 5 years of music teaching experience to a large variety of students ranging from young beginners (age 9+) to adult learners on the following subjects: CLARINET, MUSIC THEORY, MUSIC COMPOSITION, PIANO THEORY & SKILLS, SCORE READING, and MUSIC NOTATION. teaching formats include in-home private lessons, group lessons, and even university-level classroom teaching. As a Clarinetist, Edward has over 13 years of performance experience with participation in the College Band Directors National Association's regional and national conferences and touring with the top Wind Symphony at California State University, Long Beach. His Teaching method primarily revolves around establishing fundamentals and correcting performance habits at the start. It also revolves around listening and music appreciation and he hopes to instill the interest and joy of music so that the student can continue exploring music long after tutoring.
