Experience

I recently completed my PhD at Indiana University. While I was in graduate school, I taught reading and writing intensive courses at both Indiana University and the University of Notre Dame. One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching is enabling my students to read, think, and write more carefully and forcefully than they were previously taught to do. I encourage my students in a way that is intellectually serious but still fun -- I love using pop culture as a relatable currency. I'm available to help students who are interested in improving their reading and writing. I'm also available to help students edit their college application essays.
