Experience
I graduated from UC Irvine in 2014 and majored in Business Economics. I was born and raised in California and speak Mandarin Chinese fluently. I worked as an auditor at a public accounting firm for the past two years, but have decided to pursue a career in Public Health. I enjoy working with students and watching them gain confidence in their abilities. As someone who has previously struggled with academics but improved tremendously after tutoring, I know how much of a difference a tutor can make for a student's motivation to learn, and how the school system may be lacking for students for different learning styles. I can provide tutoring for a wide range of subjects for K-8, and competently tutor Chinese for K-12. I can also work with international students who want to practice their English, or with college level students who want to practice their Chinese. I have worked at a bilingual preschool and after school program, and received a score of 5 for AP Chinese. In my free time, I like to cook, go outdoors, play cello, and try new restaurants. I also love to watch movies with my friends.
