I graduated from the University of Redlands in December of 2011 with a BA in French and a minor in Art History. My overall GPA from the University of Redlands was 3.73. I was selected as Phi Beta Kappa, which is an induction into the nation's oldest national honor society for undergraduate students. I am currently pursuing an MBA part-time, and my graduate GPA is 3.85.
Experience
I was a French tutor at the University of Redlands from 2009-2011. I assisted students with vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, conversation, study skills, and test preparation for their undergraduate French coursework. I also have experience conversing with native French speakers. I studied abroad in Paris, France in 2011, attending a French immersion program and living with a French host family. While in Paris, I also completed an internship with a French company serving as a Translation Intern. I gained experience translating web content from French to English.

Weekends in the afternoon, Weekdays after 6PM

Hobbies
I of course love all things French! I also enjoy going to art museums, cooking, and traveling with my husband to new destinations. I have a son in elementary school, so I am very comfortable working with all ages of students. I try to get to know my students on a personal level so that I can better understand their academic needs. I approach each student with care, and want to see them succeed and have the language "click". My ultimate goal is to have their confidence level grow!
