I have two years experience of tutoring students ranging from elementary school to college. Since I have graduated I am preparing to apply to medical school and have worked in the healthcare field as a medical scribe. As a pre-med student I am comfortable in subjects including general/organic chemistry, general biology, and mathematics up to calculus. I understand the difficulties and preparation that goes into displaying proficiency in a subject. I feel that the best way to learn is to create an environment that a student feels comfortable in expressing what they do not know, and asserting themselves to improve those weaknesses into strengths. I believe that patience and consideration helps me to relate to the students that I have worked with and allows me to develop a plan that will offer the student the best chance at succeeding. It is important for me to help others understand the process when working through problems, as this will allow for repeated success when given different starting variables. I wish to help those in need to realize their own innate ability at academic and personal achievement.
