I am a current education major at the University of California. I am planning to pursue a career as a math teacher. I have always had a passion for helping others to expand their knowledge in math, and I have seven years of experience tutoring the subject. When working, I use examples from the real world and thoroughly explain the problems. This helps students to develop the skills to solve problems on their own and to see the relevance of math in their lives. I also find that it makes the learning process more enjoyable and exciting for the student. I love to see a student grow their knowledge in math. I want my students to be able to apply math in both the classroom and the real world. I tutor several subjects in math, including algebra, arithmetic, elementary math, geometry, middle school math, and trigonometry. In addition, I tutor English and essay writing. My best subject is math; however, I do enjoy creative writing in my free time. I love to play tennis and spend time with my family.
